Recorded in 1997, this tournament was played in the Club Mauel Veliz Sanchez, located in Santiago - Chile. Tournaments were played every Saturday during the summer from 2pm to 10 or 11 pm. Players were seeded according to their national ranking, and the whole tournament was played only in two tables. Summer tournaments and training were the way of getting ready for the regular competitive season with Club Leagues and National Tournaments in levels Open, Senior, Junior and Cadets.
